ReportingWith every visit by our pest control technician, a treatment report sheet detailing all work undertaken, is left on site in the report file provided. Any additional recommendations are also noted with a follow up to ensure appropriate action is taken. All of our pest control technicians have been provided with Maxell GPRS/bluetooth pens. This means that as the technicians write out their reports, the reports are sent via the airwaves, back to our main operations database. This system helps to ensure confidentiality to all of our clients. Reports that are sent via the postal service can be lost, so our new system protects against this happening.
In addition to the report, a site plan, schedule of pesticides and risk assessment are also provided. The site plan details all areas of the building that are to be covered by the treatment programme. In addition to the areas of coverage we will specify how many baiting devices, trapping devices and insect monitors will be installed. This ensures that all of our clients are well informed in accordance with current health and safety legislation.
The schedule of pesticides is a legal requirement. We are all responsible for the health and safety of each other, so it is imperative that when pesticides are used in a building, our clients are aware of exactly what pesticide is being used. The schedule names the pesticide, it gives information about the active ingredients of the pesticide and it also gives the MAFF registration number. |
