Training Academy

Crystal Services believes in the worth of training, realising that its investment can be repaid by superior cleaning standards, better staff retention, greater commitment and increased productivity.

Our Training Academy is based alongside our Central London offices near Tower Bridge. The Academy is audited by a BICS moderator and certified as a BICS approved training centre. Our certified Assessors carry out Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate (COPC) training at the centre. This is based on training in 10 of the 30 most common cleaning tasks. In addition our approved Assessors can carry out the COPC training on site under our multi site BICS training certificate.

All staff receive induction training prior to job commencement, covering working within the clients’ premises, basic customer care and specifics for their job role. Every Area Manager uses an induction manual specifically designed for the induction of new cleaning operatives.

All staff have fully documented training records to ensure refresher training and reviews are carried out regularly.

All staff receive specific training in all relevant legislation appropriate to their work function. Equipment manufacturers and chemical suppliers are actively involved in regular training sessions.
